Several years ago I found artifacts in a farm field. I was amazed, as the blade (pictured in the photo) was sitting on a furrow of soil, as plain as day, as if it had been left there during the spring rain (the arrow head was in an adjacent field). It is a highly cherished

I’ve written quite a few poems about rocks and stones. I love them. I adore fossils, as well. Finding a life form that lived so long ago is mind-boggling and exciting! I like to think of stone as kind, protective….. (Photo from sciencing.com)
