During our childhood, my sister and I spent a lot of time in the hills of Kentucky. One of my strongest memories is riding the road that wound around the mountains and cut through the hollers, to get to Grandma Hatfield’s house….
My sister and I spent a lot of time in southeastern Kentucky (where Dad was born and raised), and a bit of time in West Virginia. It’s fun to hear the colloquialisms and vocal accents from another region, especially within your family : )
