Happy Winter Solstice! It is important to notice simple things, the small things every day. They feed our souls, refresh our spirits, and nurture our health. It is my hope that my poems and haiku draw attention to the “small things”….

Magnolia in December

This poem is for my neighbor’s Magnolia tree. It reaches across my front yard, and fills the front bedroom window. I love that tree.
