Mountain road

I was looking through family photos this past weekend…..lots of nostalgia and happy memories! Some of the most powerful memories are from time spent in Kentucky and West Virginia, with grandmas, cousins, aunts and uncles….and that corkscrew mountain road that led us there….🚘🌄🌿🌞💖

Blackberry Creek (McCarr, KY)

I’ve mentioned the times my family spent at Grandma Hatfield’s house in Kentucky, and at Great Grandma Ratliff’s, and one of the main features of playing with our cousins was wandering through and skipping rocks in Blackberry Creek. The creek was right across the street from Grandma’s house. I have joyful memories of time spent
